Planned release is subject to change. When the person has not been sentenced on every charge, the roster may show only the latest release date currently known.

Transport, intake screening, identification, charge entry, medical review and housing assignment can delay when a recent arrest appears publicly.
After Court Release or Bail
Yakima County says its Records Department processes release paperwork in the order received. A delay of six hours or longer can be expected after release in court or bail posting.

- Ask whether another case, warrant or agency hold remains.
- Do not treat the planned-release date as an exact pickup time.

How to Verify Bail or a Bail Bond
Yakima County publishes the companies authorized to post bonds in Yakima County Superior and District Courts. The current justification period runs from August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2027.
Yakima Municipal Court maintains its own requirements. Do not assume a company authorized for County Superior or District Court is automatically approved for a City Jail case.

- Ask whether the amount is cash-only, bondable or conditional.

Do not mail ordinary cash, personal checks, payroll checks or money orders. The current top section says those methods are not accepted.
Official Page Conflict
The lower part of the same County page still contains an older “three ways” block that mentions telephone funding. The newer top section says online/app and the lobby kiosk are the only accepted ordinary methods.
Safest action: follow the current top “Depositing Funds” instructions or call County Corrections before attempting a telephone deposit.
Tribal Per-Capita Check Exception
The only listed mailed-funds exception is a tribal per-capita check. Mark the envelope “Attention: Inmate Accounts,” include the full inmate name and booking number and place no other item inside.
Commissary and Care Packages
Trust funds may be used for approved commissary items and may also be applied to authorized obligations such as medical expenses. The County links to iCare for eligible care packages.

The County does not publish the same detailed pickup schedule provided by the City. Contact County Corrections before travelling.

The City says authorized property or money may be picked up between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. The recipient must be at least 18, show valid identification and be approved by the inmate.
Confirm the facility first. Do not take City property instructions to the County facility or County expectations to the City Jail.

How to Make a Yakima County PREA Report
Yakima County Corrections states that it has zero tolerance for sexual abuse and sexual harassment. Victims, witnesses, family members and other community members may report concerns.

What the Final 2025 PREA Audit Confirmed
The final report was submitted on August 2, 2025. It recorded one standard exceeded, 44 standards met and no standards not met.
The audit also documents a June 25, 2025 test of the reporting line. The auditor was not required to enter a PIN or inmate number, left a message and later confirmed that the information was forwarded to YCDOC Internal Affairs.
Corrective action completed: the final auditor found the confidential reporting-line corrective action complete and the relevant reporting standards substantially compliant.
