Why a Milton or Other Outside Agency Can Appear in Puyallup
Puyallup is a city jail, but it also functions as a regional municipal correctional resource.
The city’s 2026 corrections budget specifically describes the program as including outside-jurisdiction jail contracts. The city’s jail history likewise says Puyallup contracts correctional services with other local law-enforcement agencies and municipal courts.
