What Happens During Booking?
The county’s general guidance says jail processing can include:

Five Rules That Commonly Cause Mail to Be Rejected
- The inmate name and detention/booking identifying number must be included.
- A complete return address is required.
- Mail must be no larger than 8.5 inches wide by 11 inches tall.
- A mailing may contain no more than five pages.
- Write only on the front because scanned mail is processed single-sided.
- Only one photograph may be included per mailing.
