Pacific County Jail Roster: Use Current, Bookings or Releases for the Right Question
Pacific County publishes three separate jail views: the current roster, recent bookings and recent releases. Start with the view that matches what happened, then verify court, bail, communication or release details through the office that actually controls them.
Official sources reviewed October 3, 2026. Reopen live county, court and provider pages before paying bail, sending mail, funding communications, travelling to South Bend or relying on a release change.
Use when an arrest or jail intake happened recently.
Use when you need to know whether the person is currently listed.
Use when the person was expected to leave custody.
Start With Pacific County’s Own Jail Pages, Not a Copied Roster
The Pacific County Sheriff’s Office says its Corrections Division is responsible for booking, housing and welfare of adult offenders in the county jail. The county’s Jail Services department lists the facility at 300 Memorial Drive, South Bend, WA 98586.
For a current custody question, use the county roster first. The live roster can show the person’s name, jail number, booked-at time, arrest date, arresting agency, court, billing agency, bond type, bond amount, warrant or citation number and charge description.
Roster ≠ court outcome. An arrest, booking, charge, warrant or jail listing does not establish guilt. Use the correct court for the filed case, disposition, sentence and other legal outcomes.
Choose the Record Owner Before You Search Again
| What you need | Official source | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Current county-jail custody | Pacific County Jail Roster | Present listing plus booking, court and bond fields. |
| Very recent intake | Pacific County Jail Bookings | Recent jail intake entries. |
| Recent discharge | Pacific County Jail Releases | Recent recorded release names and times. |
| Felony / Superior Court case | Pacific County Superior Court & Clerk | Superior Court records, dockets, documents and clerk services. |
| North District Court matter | North District Court | North-county limited-jurisdiction cases and records. |
| South District Court matter | South District Court | South-county limited-jurisdiction cases and records. |
| Sheriff report / public disclosure | Sheriff Support Services / Records Request | Sheriff records and public-disclosure routing. |
| Washington prison custody | Washington DOC Incarcerated Search | State DOC custody after transfer or sentencing. |
| Federal prison custody | Federal BOP Inmate Locator | Bureau of Prisons custody when the case is federal. |
Current Roster, Bookings and Releases Are Separate Official Views
“Is the person listed now?”
Use the main roster for active local custody. It includes a last-name filter and detailed charge, court and bond rows.
“Was there a recent intake?”
Use the booking list after a recent arrest. A booking record confirms an intake event but does not prove the person remains in jail now.
“Was a recent discharge recorded?”
Use the release list when someone was expected to leave custody. The release timestamp does not explain every condition, hold, transport issue or later re-arrest.
How to Search the Pacific County Jail Roster
- Choose the correct official list. Use Current Roster, Bookings or Releases according to the event you are trying to verify.
- Filter the live roster by last name. The county roster provides a last-name filter. Start with the legal surname and use a reasonable former, maiden or hyphenated variation only when needed.
- Compare the jail number and “Booked At” time. A name alone is not enough when people share similar names.
- Expand every arrest/charge row. Review arresting agency, court, billing agency, bond type, bond amount, warrant/citation number and description.
- Identify the court before acting on bond or a hearing. One person can have matters in more than one court or with more than one agency.
- Refresh before paying, mailing or arranging pickup. Court action, release processing, transfer, another hold or a data update can change the practical answer.
Pacific County Roster Fields and the $0 Bond Trap
| Field | What it can tell you | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|
| Number | A jail-side identifier that helps distinguish records and may be useful for mail or communication setup. | It is the same as a court case number. |
| Booked At | The date/time the jail recorded the booking. | It is necessarily the exact arrest time. |
| Arresting Agency | The agency tied to the arrest or hold. | That agency also controls the jail, court or final release. |
| Court | A court code connected with the listed matter. | Every charge is in the same court. Pacific County has Superior, North District, South District and municipal-court routes. |
| Billing Agency | The agency financially associated with the listed custody matter. | It must be the same as the arresting agency. |
| Bond Type | Can show Cash or Surety, Same Case, Bail Not Set, No Bail Allowed or Sentenced. | Every $0 line means the person can walk out without another court or hold issue. |
| Bond Amount | The amount attached to that specific roster line when a monetary amount is shown. | Paying one displayed amount clears every case or hold. |
| Warrant / Citation # | An identifier that can help you locate the correct case or court record. | Every number follows the same court numbering format. |
| Description | The custody reason or charge description recorded by the jail system. | It is the final filed charge or final court disposition. |
Zero dollars can mean very different things. “Same Case $0,” “Bail Not Set $0,” “No Bail Allowed $0,” “Sentenced $0” and a separate monetary Cash-or-Surety row are not interchangeable. Read all rows and verify the controlling court order.
If the Name Is Missing, Follow the Event Instead of Guessing
Possible explanation
Transport, intake, identification, screening or booking may still be underway.
Check Recent Bookings, then call Jail Services if immediate custody confirmation matters.
Possible explanation
A case, citation, warrant, probation matter or scheduled hearing can exist without current jail custody.
Use the court record for the case and the jail roster separately for physical custody.
Superior, North District, South District or the municipal court shown by the record.
Possible explanation
A release may have been recorded, or release processing may still be underway.
Check the Releases page and current roster, then call before arranging pickup.
Possible explanation
The person may have transferred to Washington DOC.
Search by name or DOC number after a confirmed state-custody transfer.
Possible explanation
The person may never have entered Pacific County Jail or may have been moved elsewhere.
Identify the arresting agency, court or transfer destination before searching another custody system.
Use the identified county’s official jail or the BOP locator when federal custody is actually indicated.
Pacific County Has More Than One Court Route
The roster can display court codes, but custody data does not replace the official docket. Washington Courts can help identify a case, while the court of record controls filed documents and current hearing information.

Confirm Every Case and Hold Before Posting Pacific County Bail
Pacific County’s official bail page lists two broad pretrial release-money routes: full cash bail equal to 100% of the established amount, or a qualifying surety bond through a bonding agent approved for the relevant Pacific County courts.
| Roster wording | Practical meaning | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Cash or Surety | That listed matter may allow cash bail or an approved surety bond. | Confirm the amount, court and every other hold before paying. |
| Same Case | The row is tied to another bond decision in the same case. | Do not add every $0 Same Case row as a separate bond. |
| Bail Not Set | A bail decision may still require court action. | Verify after the relevant hearing. |
| No Bail Allowed | The listed matter does not currently permit ordinary bail release. | Do not send money for that line; verify with the court or jail. |
| Sentenced | The person may be serving a court-ordered term for that matter. | Ask about sentence/release calculation rather than assuming bail applies. |
- Confirm the exact person and jail number.
- Read every roster charge and court row.
- Ask whether another warrant, court or agency hold prevents release.
- Confirm whether cash or surety is allowed for the controlling matter.
- Confirm where payment must be posted.
- Keep the receipt or bonding paperwork.
- Confirm actual release before arranging transportation.
Open Pacific County’s official Bail Bonds page
The county’s approved-agent list can change. Jail-Roster.org does not recommend or rank bonding companies.
Use the Release List and Notification Tools—Then Confirm Time-Sensitive Pickup
The county publishes a separate Releases page with names and recorded release times. Use it together with the current roster rather than assuming a missing current entry automatically means a completed release.
- Refresh the current roster. See whether the person still appears.
- Check the official Releases page. Look for a recent recorded release time.
- Review the court when release depended on a hearing or bail decision. A jail release list does not explain every condition.
- Call Jail Services when pickup timing matters. Release processing and transportation can take time.
Release notifications
The live Pacific County roster includes a “Notify on Release” registration option beside listed people. Washington also provides WA VINE/SAVIN automated custody-status notifications. Automated alerts are useful backups, not guarantees for an urgent personal-safety plan.
Pacific County Jail Uses NCIC for Remote Visits, Calls and Messaging
The current Pacific County Jail page says in-person visitation is not available. Family and friends use NCIC remote visitation, and the county says a kiosk in the jail waiting area can be used for remote visitation.
NCIC visitor account
Create the provider account, select the correct facility/person and follow the live scheduling instructions. Recheck custody before buying visit time.
NCIC communications
Pacific County’s NCIC rollout covers phone calls, video visitation and text messaging. NCIC’s current public support number is 800-943-2189.
6 a.m.–10 p.m. announced access
The county’s NCIC press release says designated tablets are generally available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for communication, education and entertainment. Housing or security restrictions can still affect access.
NCIC funds are communication funds. NCIC’s own account terms say the account cannot be used for commissary transactions. Do not assume a communication deposit also funds the inmate trust/commissary account.
Do Not Mix the Texas Scanning Address With the South Bend Facility Address
NCIC mail-scanning route
Inmate NameSO#
Pacific County Jail
PO Box 591
Longview, TX 75606
Pacific County says this scanning address is for letter mail. Include the inmate name, SO number and facility name.
Send to the facility, not the scanning address
Inmate NamePacific County Jail
PO Box 47
South Bend, WA 98586
The county says these items sent to the Texas scanning address will be returned. Follow current facility approval and source rules before ordering anything.
Current prohibited-mail examples
The county currently lists unknown substances, glitter, perfume, glue or adhesive material, sexually explicit content, stamps, envelopes, writing materials and Polaroids as prohibited. Oversized packages require pre-approval.
Before mailing: refresh the person’s custody and re-open the county jail page. A transfer or release can make an otherwise correctly addressed item useless or delayed.
Do Not Guess the Commissary Provider From an Old Directory
The current official county jail pages reviewed for this refresh clearly identify NCIC for communication services, but they do not publish a current public commissary-deposit provider on the pages reviewed. Third-party jail directories currently advertise a different money vendor, but that does not override the county.
Before sending commissary or trust-account money, call Jail Services at 360-875-9396 or 360-642-9396 and ask for the current inmate-funds method, required identifier, fees and limits.
- Confirm the person is still in Pacific County Jail.
- Ask whether the payment is for commissary/trust, communications or bail.
- Use the current official vendor route supplied by the jail.
- Match the inmate name and number exactly.
- Review the provider fee before submitting.
- Keep the transaction receipt.
Three different money purposes: NCIC communication funds, inmate trust/commissary money and bail are separate. A deposit into one does not satisfy another.
Ask the Sheriff for Sheriff Records and the Court for Court Documents
The Pacific County Sheriff’s Support Services division handles records and public disclosure among its listed services. For a Sheriff report, evidence-related public record or other law-enforcement record, start with the Sheriff’s Records Request route rather than the jail roster.
Open Pacific County Sheriff Support Services / Records Request
Court documents are different
Washington Courts says copies of actual filed case documents must be obtained from the court where the case was filed. For Pacific County Superior Court documents, contact the County Clerk at 360-875-9320. For District Court records, use the applicable North or South District Court record-request process.
Booking photos: do not assume every roster entry must contain a publicly downloadable booking photo. Ask the record custodian what is releasable under current Washington public-record and privacy rules.
Pacific County Has Added Health Monitoring and Publishes a PREA Reporting Route
Pacific County Jail Services reported in 2025 that it contracted with ASPEN/IVY for medical and mental-health services and added medical-sensor technology. A February 2026 county update says the Board approved additional medical sensors after jail staff responded to suicide and medical emergencies.
If you need to provide urgent health information about a person in custody, contact Jail Services directly rather than sending medical details through ordinary mail or social media.
Sexual abuse or harassment reporting
The Pacific County Sheriff’s PREA page states zero tolerance for sexual misconduct and says a friend or family member may report for an incarcerated person. It lists Crisis Support Network at 1-800-435-7276 or 360-875-6702 for an advocate.
Open the Sheriff’s PREA information
Use 911 for an immediate emergency outside the facility. This guide does not diagnose medical or mental-health conditions.
Use Washington DOC, BOP or Another County Only When the Record Points There
Washington DOC
Search by first name, last name or DOC number when a sentence or confirmed transfer moves the person into state correctional custody.
Bureau of Prisons
Use the federal locator when the case or sentence is federal. Do not treat a BOP result as a substitute for local, marshal or pretrial detention confirmation.
Confirm the county first
Pacific County borders Grays Harbor to the north. Use another county roster only when the arresting agency, court, warrant or transfer information actually points there.

Pacific County Jail Services — South Bend
Pacific County Public Safety Building, 300 Memorial Drive, South Bend, WA 98586. Jail Services uses PO Box 47 for its South Bend mailing address. Confirm the service you need before travelling because inmate visitation is currently remote rather than face-to-face.
Use Public Jail Data as a Custody Tool, Not a Verdict
- Arrest does not equal conviction.
- A booking charge can change after prosecutor or court review.
- A warrant does not prove present incarceration.
- A $0 bond row does not automatically mean free release.
- A recorded release time does not explain every court condition or later custody event.
- An old screenshot should not be treated as current custody proof.
- Do not use public jail information for harassment, threats, stalking or public shaming.
- Use the official court record for legal outcomes and deadlines.
Pacific County Jail Roster FAQs
Where is the official Pacific County Jail roster?
Use Pacific County’s own Jail Roster at co.pacific.wa.us/jail/roster/. It is the official county starting point for current local jail custody and shows booking, court, bond and charge fields.
Does Pacific County have separate booking and release lists?
Yes. Pacific County publishes separate Current Roster, Bookings and Releases pages. Use the current roster for present custody, Bookings for recent intake and Releases when checking a recent discharge.
What does a $0 bond amount mean on the Pacific County roster?
Read the bond type before interpreting the amount. The roster can show Same Case, Bail Not Set, No Bail Allowed, Sentenced or another status with $0. Those labels mean different things and do not automatically mean the person is eligible to leave without another court or hold issue.
How do I post bail for someone in Pacific County Jail?
Pacific County’s official bail page lists full cash bail equal to 100% of the established amount and qualifying surety bonds through approved bonding agents. Confirm every case, current amount, court and outside hold before paying, and confirm release afterward.
Can I visit someone at Pacific County Jail in person?
The current county jail page says in-person visitation is not available. Remote visitation is provided through NCIC, and the jail says a kiosk in its waiting area can be used for remote visitation.
What address should I use for Pacific County inmate mail?
Ordinary letter mail uses the NCIC scanning address: inmate name, SO number, Pacific County Jail, PO Box 591, Longview, TX 75606. The county says books, magazines, newspapers and bulk mail should not go to that address; qualifying items use Pacific County Jail, PO Box 47, South Bend, WA 98586, with the inmate name.
How do I send commissary money to a Pacific County inmate?
The current official county pages reviewed clearly identify NCIC for communications but do not publish a current public commissary-deposit provider on those pages. Call Jail Services at 360-875-9396 or 360-642-9396 for the current trust or commissary method before sending money. NCIC communication funds are not commissary funds.
How can I get notified when a Pacific County inmate is released?
The live county roster includes a Notify on Release registration option beside listed people. Washington also offers WA VINE/SAVIN automated custody-status notifications. For an urgent safety or pickup decision, verify directly with the jail instead of relying only on an automated alert.
What should I do when a person is missing from the roster?
Check Recent Bookings for a new arrest and Releases for a recent discharge, then verify the court or call Jail Services. If a transfer is confirmed, use Washington DOC, BOP or the identified county’s official custody system rather than searching random jail directories.
Where do I verify a Pacific County court case?
Use Washington Courts to identify the case, then verify through the court of record. Pacific County has Superior Court and County Clerk in South Bend, North District Court in South Bend and South District Court in Long Beach. Actual filed documents must be obtained from the court where the case was filed.
