Tulsa County Jail Roster: Find the Booking Before You Pay, Visit or Call
The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office operates the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center, commonly called the Tulsa County Jail. Start with the Sheriff-linked Tulsa County Inmate Information Center when you need county-jail custody or booking information.
Tulsa also operates a separate municipal jail. If the person was arrested only for a City of Tulsa charge or municipal warrant, check the City of Tulsa Jail Hub rather than assuming every Tulsa arrest appears in the county roster.

First Decide: Tulsa County Jail or Tulsa Municipal Jail?
This distinction is one of the most important parts of a Tulsa inmate search. The county jail and municipal jail are different facilities with different public search systems.
David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center
300 N. Denver AvenueTulsa, OK 74103
Phone: 918-596-8900
Use this route for people booked into Tulsa County custody, including arrests involving state misdemeanor or felony charges.
Tulsa Municipal Jail
600 Civic CenterTulsa, OK 74103
Jail: 918-596-2347
Municipal Court Bonds: 918-596-9253
Use the City of Tulsa inmate directory when the person may be held on municipal charges or city warrants rather than county/state charges.
Choose the Official Record That Matches the Question
Current county custody
Use the TCSO-linked Inmate Information Center by name or Booking ID.
City jail custody
Use the City of Tulsa inmate directory for municipal custody.
Case and court dates
Use OSCN and the Tulsa County Court Clerk for the legal case record.
Transfer or release
Use OK VINE, Oklahoma DOC or BOP only when the custody path supports it.
How to Search the Tulsa County Jail Roster
- Start from the Tulsa County Sheriff jail page.
This confirms that you are using the jail search TCSO actually links rather than a commercial background-check or mugshot site. - Choose Search by Name or Booking ID List.
TCSO exposes both routes. Use the Booking ID list when you already know the admission number or are checking recent booking entries. - Match more than the name.
The county booking index has historically displayed name, Booking ID, booking date, gender and DLM number. Compare every current identifying field the live system provides before assuming two similar names refer to the same person. - Save the DLM or booking identifier.
The DLM number is useful for mail, deposits and jail follow-up. Do not substitute a court case number for a jail identifier unless the receiving system specifically asks for it. - Verify the next task separately.
Use the court for docket status, the jail for current custody/visitation, and ODOC or BOP only after an actual transfer.
Recent Bookings and the Booking ID List
TCSO links a separate Booking ID List from its current jail page. That route is useful when you are trying to identify a recent admission or distinguish two people with similar names.
Open the Tulsa County Booking ID List
| Booking field | How it helps | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| Booking ID | Identifies a particular admission record. | It is the same as a court case number or DLM number. |
| Booking date | Helps match the entry to a known arrest or intake period. | It is necessarily the exact time the arrest occurred. |
| DLM number | The facility identifier can help with mail, money and jail communication. | Every outside agency uses the same identifier. |
| Charge or bond detail | Can help route a person toward the correct court or release question when displayed. | A listed charge is a conviction or that a displayed bond remains unchanged. |
Tulsa County Mugshots and Booking Photographs
TCSO confirms that a person’s picture and fingerprints are recorded during booking at David L. Moss. A booking photograph is therefore part of the intake process.
Public display is a different question. Current inmate-detail pages could not be fetched reliably during this audit, so this guide does not promise that every present Tulsa County booking record displays a public mugshot.
A photograph only documents a point in the booking process. It does not prove conviction, current custody or the eventual outcome of the case.
If the Person Is Missing From the Tulsa County Roster
Bond Verification: Avoid Tulsa’s Current Phone Scam
TCSO warned again in May 2026 that scammers were finding relatives of Tulsa County inmates online and calling them with fake bond or ankle-monitor payment demands.
Before paying, confirm the inmate, current bond amount, court case and whether another hold could prevent release. Do not send gift cards, cryptocurrency or cash-app payments to someone claiming to be TCSO.
Read TCSO’s current bond-scam warning
Posting bond also does not promise an exact physical release time. Court orders, additional holds, identity verification and release processing can affect when a person leaves the facility.
Check the Court Case Separately From the Jail Booking
Tulsa County’s criminal cases are handled through the District Court system. The Criminal Division is at the Tulsa County Courthouse, 500 S. Denver, Tulsa, OK 74103, general phone 918-596-5000.

Warrants Are Not the Same as Jail Custody
TCSO publishes a Warrants contact at 918-596-8984. A warrant means a court or authority has issued an arrest command; it does not prove the person has already been arrested or is currently at David L. Moss.
TCSO also warns that it will not call people with warrants and demand immediate payment through gift cards, cryptocurrency, cash apps or similar methods.
David L. Moss Visitation
The current TCSO jail page says on-site non-contact visitation is available on Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.. Visitors must apply and receive approval before scheduling.
Current TCSO guidance says on-site visits are limited to documented immediate relatives such as parents, grandparents, children, spouses and siblings. Friends and fiancés are not included in that current on-site list.
On-site visit
Complete the visitor request/application and wait for approval before trying to schedule.
Video visit
TCSO currently identifies TechFriends as its video-visitation service and routes users to JailATM for scheduling.
Phone Calls, Voicemail and Video Communication
TCSO says newly processed inmates are allowed to make phone calls to arrange bond or notify family. Its current public jail page clearly identifies TechFriends/JailATM for video visitation, but it does not clearly identify a current voice-call provider or publish current voice-call rates.
An older TCSO inmate handbook described pod phones using prepaid or collect calls, no incoming calls and voicemail capability. Because that handbook is dated 2018, do not treat its provider or payment details as proof of the current 2026 phone system.

TCSO says cash found during booking is placed in the inmate’s trust account. Family and friends currently have several supported deposit routes.

Kiosks are in the DLMCJC front lobby and accept cash and credit cards. TCSO states that fees apply.
Mail a cashier’s check or money order using the inmate’s correct name and ID information.

Property Pickup at David L. Moss
The current Sheriff Jail Information page says property pickup should be scheduled with the property clerk. The published property-room phone is 918-596-8872.
The current jail page lists property pickup as Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., excluding observed holidays.
Medical Services, Mental Health and PREA
TCSO states that David L. Moss is staffed around the clock by detention officers and medical and mental-health professionals. Its current jail page identifies Turn Key Health Clinics for medical services and lists a medical-information helpline at 1-800-246-0881.
Family members should not expect staff to disclose another person’s protected medical details. Use the jail or medical helpline to ask how to provide important medication or health information.
PREA / Sexual Misconduct Reporting
TCSO states that David L. Moss has zero tolerance for sexual misconduct. Third parties may report suspected sexual abuse or harassment at 918-596-5601.
TCSO also lists the CALL RAPE hotline at 918-743-5763. Reports can be made without providing the caller’s name.
Tulsa County Sheriff Open Records Requests
If you need a Sheriff’s report, booking-related record or other releasable agency material that is not available through the public jail interface, use the TCSO Open Records process.
TCSO says requests may be submitted by U.S. mail or email. It specifically states that hand delivery is not an available request method.

After Release or Transfer: VINE, Oklahoma DOC and Federal Custody
OK VINE
OK VINE is Oklahoma’s free, confidential 24-hour custody-information and notification service.
Phone: 1-877-654-8463
Oklahoma DOC
If the person moves into Oklahoma state-correctional custody, use the ODOC inmate lookup rather than continuing to refresh Tulsa County’s jail list.
Federal Bureau of Prisons
Use BOP when the person may be serving a federal sentence or has moved into federal prison custody.
Do not search state, federal and neighboring-county systems at random. First identify the arresting agency, court case or transfer information so you know which custody system could realistically hold the person.

Use Tulsa Booking and Mugshot Information Responsibly
An arrest is not a conviction. A booking photograph is not evidence of guilt, a booking charge is not a final court disposition, and a warrant does not prove present incarceration.
Custody changes after bond, court action, release or transfer. Do not present an old screenshot, cached booking page or copied mugshot as proof that someone remains incarcerated today.
Do not use public jail information to harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, impersonate or publicly shame another person. For employment, housing, licensing or another regulated decision, use the legally appropriate screening and official court-record process.
Tulsa County Jail Roster FAQs
Where is the official Tulsa County inmate search?
The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Jail Information page links the Tulsa County Inmate Information Center, including a Search by Name route and Booking ID List. Start from TCSO rather than an unofficial mugshot or people-search site.
Is David L. Moss the Tulsa County Jail?
Yes. The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office identifies the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center at 300 N. Denver Avenue as the Tulsa County Jail.
Why can’t I find someone arrested in Tulsa?
The booking may still be processing, the person may have been released or transferred, or the person may be in the separate Tulsa Municipal Jail on city charges. Check both custody routes when the arrest circumstances support it.
Does the Tulsa County jail roster show mugshots?
TCSO confirms that a picture is taken during the DLMCJC booking process. Current inmate-detail pages could not be reliably opened during this audit, so this guide does not promise that every current public entry displays a booking photograph.
What is the Tulsa County Jail phone number?
David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center’s general information number is 918-596-8900.
When are in-person visits at David L. Moss?
The current TCSO Jail Information page lists on-site visitation on Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Visitors must follow the application and approval process. Verify the schedule before traveling because older county pages contain conflicting times.
How do I send money to a Tulsa County inmate?
TCSO currently identifies lobby kiosks, JailATM, CSGPay and mailed cashier’s checks or money orders as supported routes. Mailed cash and personal checks are not accepted.
How should inmate mail be addressed?
Use the inmate’s full name and DLM number, C/O David L. Moss, 300 N. Denver Ave., Tulsa, OK 74103. Check current TCSO mail restrictions before sending photographs, publications or unusual materials.
How do I verify a Tulsa County bond without being scammed?
Confirm the current inmate record and court information, then follow the jail’s bond-and-release process. TCSO says legitimate bond release is not handled by an unsolicited caller demanding phone, gift-card, cash-app or cryptocurrency payment.
Where do I search after someone transfers out of Tulsa County Jail?
Use OK VINE for supported custody notifications, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections inmate lookup for state correctional custody and the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for federal prison custody.
