The jail FAQ says a cash bond may be refundable after a qualifying case is dismissed or resolved. The cash bond is receipted to the defendant, and only the defendant may receive the refund. The FAQ directs the person to keep the original receipt, obtain court paperwork showing dismissal or resolution, bring government-issued identification, and determine whether the money is held by the court clerk or the jail.
